A working shop, not a showroom middleman
Elite Closets & Cabinetry is a veteran-owned New Hampshire cabinetry company — three collections at three price points, every one of them built in our own NH Woodworks shop since 2006.
Started in a shop, still run out of one
We began the way most good cabinet shops do: one person, a set of tools, and a stubborn opinion about how a drawer should be built. Twenty years later the shop is bigger and the equipment is better, but the opinion has not changed.
Today more than 30 years of combined expertise goes into what we make, and every piece is manufactured in-house at our facility in Milford, New Hampshire. We do not white-label somebody else's boxes and put our name on the invoice.
We are veteran-owned and family run, rooted in Milford, and we serve homeowners, builders and designers across New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Why you see both Elite and NH Woodworks
They are the same business, the same shop floor and the same people. Elite Closets & Cabinetry is who you buy from. NH Woodworks is who builds it.
The company, and three collections
Fully custom, semi-custom, retailElite Closets & Cabinetry is the name over the whole business. Under it sit three collections at three price points, so you are not forced into bespoke engineering on a room that does not need it — or into a stock box on a room that does.
The shop, and the custom collection
Founded 2006NH Woodworks is our woodshop in Milford — every Elite cabinet, in every collection, is manufactured there. It is also the name on our fully custom collection: if a job is drawn around your room with no catalog involved, it is an NH Woodworks job.
How we like to work
Four things we will not trade away, even when it would be easier or cheaper.
Build it here
Design, manufacturing and installation all happen under our roof. Nothing gets handed to a middleman who has never seen your house.
Quote it straight
An itemized written quote before you commit, and a real date rather than a vague range. If a less expensive collection would serve you just as well, we will say so.
Show it first
Every project gets a 3D rendering during design. You approve the drawing before anything gets cut, so install day holds no surprises.
Stand behind it
We live where we work. If something needs attention after install, you are calling the people who built it, not a national call center.

Milford is where most projects start — sitting down with samples, talking through the space and walking out with a plan.
It is also where every project gets made. Sheet goods come in one end, and finished cabinetry goes on a truck out the other. The designer who drew your kitchen can walk twenty feet and look at the actual panels coming off the saw.
