Everything we build, and three ways to buy it

Start with the room you are trying to solve, then choose your collection — fully custom by NH Woodworks, semi-custom Elite Select, or retail Elite Essentials. All three come out of the same shop, built by the same people.

Three collections, three ways to build it

Most cabinet companies sell you whichever one they happen to stock. We run all three under one roof at our NH Woodworks shop — so we can tell you honestly which one your project actually needs.

How It Works

From first idea to installed

The same four steps on every project — whether it is a full custom kitchen or a single quick-ship vanity.

01

Consult

We walk the space with you, measure, and talk honestly about style, storage and budget. No charge and no pressure.

02

Design

You get a 3D rendering and a written quote. We revise it until the drawing matches what is in your head.

03

Build

Your cabinetry is cut, assembled and finished in our Milford shop — not ordered from a catalog overseas.

04

Install

Our own installers set it, scribe it and clean up after themselves. Then we walk it with you before we leave.

What Goes Into It

Materials and hardware we stand behind

The parts you never see are the ones that decide whether cabinetry lasts five years or thirty. We do not cut corners where they are easy to hide.

  • Cabinet-grade plywood boxes
  • Dovetailed solid-wood drawers
  • Soft-close undermount glides
  • Concealed adjustable hinges
  • Catalyzed conversion-varnish finish
  • Maple, oak, cherry, walnut and paint grade

Common Questions

Before you call

How much does a custom project cost?

It depends entirely on size, materials and collection, so any number quoted before we see the space would be a guess. What we can promise is a written, itemized quote after the consultation — and an honest recommendation if a less expensive collection would serve you just as well.

Do you charge for the consultation or the design?

No. The consultation, the measurements and the 3D rendering are free, with no obligation to move forward.

How long does a project take?

Retail and RTA orders can ship almost immediately. Custom and semi-custom are made to order, with semi-custom usually the shorter of the two, so the timeline depends on our current shop schedule and the size of your project. We give you a real date in writing before you commit, not a vague range.

Do you install, or is that on me?

Either way works. Our own crew installs the majority of what we build, but if you are handy or already have a contractor, we are happy to supply the cabinetry and let them set it.

Do you work with builders, contractors and designers?

Yes, and a good share of our work comes that way. If you are a trade professional looking for a local cabinet shop that will actually answer the phone, get in touch.

What areas do you serve?

New Hampshire and Massachusetts, from our showroom and manufacturing facility in Milford. If you are outside those two states, call anyway — we travel for the right project, and have built and delivered work to Maine, Vermont, Martha’s Vineyard and New Jersey.
